SINCE 859
Hofgut Sickertshofen in Schwabhausen, Dachau district, was first documented in 859 and has belonged to the Loock family since 1926. Today Stephan Loock runs the farm in the fourth generation. Since 2011 it has also been an event venue for companies, with three halls, 40,000 m² of grounds and energy from its own biogas and solar plant, about 30 minutes by car north-west of Munich.

Sickertshofen is first documented in 859. For almost 900 years after that it belonged to church institutions, most recently the Augustinian Canons of Indersdorf.
In 1926 Albert and Ida Loock from Kleve on the Lower Rhine bought the run-down farm. Albert wrote in a letter at the time: “All roofs were rotten, nine large oaks had been felled, the animals were sick.” They carried on anyway.
Today Stephan Loock runs the farm in the fourth generation, and Robin Loock-Stauder is co-owner of the event venue. Companies have celebrated and met here since 2011, starting in the converted cattle barn that is now the Vaulted Hall.
The estate is still a working farm: the fields are farmed, and what grows there produces the power for your event.

OUR HISTORY
You can feel what has grown over decades. And you can feel what separates a family estate from an event factory.
859
First documented mention
The land where today's estate stands is first documented. Company parties came a long time later.
938–1803
The monastery era
For almost 900 years, Sickertshofen belongs to church institutions, most recently the Augustinian Canons of Indersdorf. During this period, the Chapel of the Holy Trinity with its Gothic frescoes is created and still exists today.
1926
The Loock family takes over
Albert and Ida Loock from Kleve on the Lower Rhine acquire the run-down estate. In a letter, Albert describes the condition: "All roofs were rotten, nine large oaks had been felled, the animals were sick." With courage and consistency, they rebuild the estate.
1988
The pumpkin era begins
Walburga Loock starts growing pumpkins; today there are more than 120 varieties. The annual Kunst & Kürbis festival draws thousands, and ever since we know how to direct parking for a few thousand visitors.
2011
The Vaulted Hall is created
An old cattle barn becomes the Vaulted Hall: 400 square metres, 18 limestone columns, underfloor heating and vehicle-accessible. The transformation from agricultural business to event venue begins.
2021
Beletage, Orangerie and the next generation
Stephan Loock takes over the estate in the fourth generation. In the same year, Beletage and Orangerie open. From then on, more and more companies come.
2025
The event campus takes shape
With the new Getting Ready Apartment and the consistent B2B positioning, Hofgut Sickertshofen is now an event campus for companies that want more than a meeting room.
2026
AINOVORA becomes exclusive partner
Claudia and Andreas Pfaller from AINOVORA become the exclusive photo and video partners for all B2B events at Hofgut after many years of collaboration, formerly under the name MOKATI Fotos und Film. From now on, high-quality documentation becomes part of the standard offer for corporate clients.
SUSTAINABILITY
Hofgut Sickertshofen generates the power and heat for your corporate event itself, not through carbon offsets, but with biogas and solar on its own land.

Heat and power are produced on the farm, in a biogas plant that uses farm waste and in large solar installations.
Service water comes from the estate's own well.
More than 120 pumpkin varieties grow on the farm. It is a working agricultural business, not a backdrop. What isn't used for events goes back into the soil.
Hofgut Sickertshofen generates the power and heat for events itself from biogas and solar. What figures you get for your sustainability report, we clarify when you inquire.
