Hofgut Sickertshofen in Schwabhausen, Dachau district, is about 30 minutes by car north-west of Munich and hosts corporate Christmas parties for 50 to 1,500 guests. Dinner is served in the heated Vaulted Hall with up to 240 seats, while wooden huts and fire pits fill the courtyard. No other company is on site that evening, and there is no curfew.
WHY SICKERTSHOFEN?
Planning a company Christmas party really means planning a thank-you to your team. It shouldn't feel like a hotel ballroom, and it shouldn't be over at 11 p.m.
Hofgut Sickertshofen was first documented in 859 and has belonged to the Loock family since 1926. It sits among fields in Schwabhausen near Dachau, about 30 minutes by car north-west of Munich.
In December, lights hang over the courtyard, wood burns in the fire bowls, and the underfloor heating has the Vaulted Hall warm before the first guests arrive.
Wooden huts, mulled wine, Feuerzangenbowle, and nobody there except your guests. Use it as the reception before dinner, or keep it open all night.
To avoid confusion: this is not the estate's public Christmas market, but a private setup for your evening.
Ice stock sport on the grounds, fire pits in the courtyard, then into the vaulted hall. The old wooden sleighs are the photo spot almost everyone stops at.
If it gets too cold or starts raining, everything moves into the Vaulted Hall and Orangerie.
The estate stands alone among fields, so there is no curfew. Open end is the norm for company parties here.
Catering, music, decoration and technology run through the estate's regular partners. You talk to Anouk, she coordinates the rest, and you get one invoice instead of five.

Concrete services, no small print
Cooking is done by the estate's regular caterers: mulled wine stand and starters in the courtyard, then a buffet or a multi-course menu. On request we also take care of music, decoration and technology.
Fire pits, patio heaters and lit wooden huts are standard for Christmas parties at the estate.
Across the whole estate, in case the CEO's speech needs to be streamed to other offices.
